This series of five ABCDE caches were placed with a dual purpose. 1. To satisfy a COAP task. 2. To provide some new caches to go along with CRAG'S FROSTival event. Welcome new and seasoned cachers. Here's hoping everyone involved will enjoy the event and the opportunity to get out and discover some caches. Each of the five caches will provide some bit of advice to help make caching safe and fun.
#1 ACTION: Yes, caching is an outdoor physical activity that starts with action (Remember Particip-Action). Caching is an activity, game, past-time and, for some, a passion or addiction that gets you up off that comfy couch and out into the fresh air and sunshine. For many it has been an activity that helps get us through the winter months and continues to get us out the remainder of the year. One of the great things you will notice when geocaching in the winter is the mosquitos never bother you. Caching is also a very social activity which is why it is great for everyone. Within the Capital Region and beyond dedicated cachers love events; ie. breakfast get-togethers, special celebration day events and challenges. And, you will find, cachers have lots of special events you've never heard of before.
So, have fun, get some exercise and meet new friends. Remember Geocaching "Fun for 'Everyone"!
This #1 ACTION cache is close to the Hazen Centre. You may need your TOTT.
