An event where everyone gets to play.
It's back again...the Ballarat Geocacher Quoits Competition. This will be the 3rd edition of the event, so I hope you can come along.

Where: McDonalds Bandstand - Wendouree Parade (The Posted Co-ords)
Come and join in the fun as we stage the 3rd ever Ballarat Geocacher Quoits Competition. You do remember quoits? I'm sure we've all played at some stage when we were kids. Well, now you get the chance to play again and see if you can match it with other geocachers from around the Ballarat area.
The plan is to meet at the McDonalds Bandstand (the posted co-ords) at 10.00am and those who want to play...and really, who won't want to play...will have their names place in a hat and then a draw will be held to determine their place in the draw. Something like a tennis or any other knock out style competition. Those drawn to play each other will then play a head to head match, with the winner moving onto the next round and the loser taking a seat. We will work our way through the head to head matches until there are only two players remaining. They will then play off for the right to be crowned the Ballarat Geocacher Quoits Champion. There may even be a cup for the winner to proudly hold aloft. More details about the competition will be announced on the day.
There is plenty of parking along the road near the Bandstand (Wendouree Parade). There are eating establishment close by, however the suggestion is to bring your own so you don't miss a minute of the action.
Please log a Will Attend so I know what size draw is required. The draw to start the competition will commence at 10.05am
