This spot may not look like much at first glance, but to me it holds a lot of meaning.
When I was a kid, this S-bend was part of my walk home from school, just around the corner. I must have walked this stretch countless times. My dad would always remind me to be careful taking the S-bend way home, warning that cars coming through here have a bit of a blind spot for people walking. It was something that stuck with me and always made me a little more aware as I passed through.
Coming back here years later brought back a flood of childhood memories — school days, my old neighborhood, and those simple walks home that didn’t seem important at the time but mean a lot now.
I’ve hidden this micro bison tube here as a small tribute to those memories and to a place that helped shape them. Please take care when searching, be mindful of traffic, and replace the cache exactly as found so others can enjoy this little piece of the past too.
Happy caching, and safe travels.
