Once upon a time, next to this very lake, a little girl named Evelou had a magical experience. Evelou was cammping near by with her parents in the warm month of July. As her Mommy preped lunch and her Daddy cut fire wood, She decided to explore up the hill into the trees. As she ducked under branches and entered into a small opening in between several large knotted trees, she heard rusling coming from the base of one of the trees. Looking for the source of the sound she found a little tiny person. This little tiny person had vibrant golden hair and looked to be whereing clothes made of leaves and tree bark. Suddenly brilliant shimering wings fluttered from her back as she struggled to take flight. Falling to the ground Evelou noticed that there was old fishing line wrapped around the little person's leg and they seemed to be trapped. Causiously she reached down and freed the tiny being from the fishing line. The little person knodded in apreciation and reached out a tiny little hand. When Evelou reached out to touch the hand she suddenly felt the world spinning around and around. When it stopped she found herself face to face with who she could now see was a stunningly pretty fairy, but this fairy was as big as she was. Wait, no she is as small as a fairy. After a tense moment of locking eyes with the fairy, she spoke. Her voice was soft and flowing like a song on the gentle summer wind. She Thanked evelou for freeing her and said her name was Shimmer and told her that she was a lake Fairy. She brought her to this big spiraling tree where Evelou got to meet more lake fairies and they showed her their magical home. Soon Evelou heard her Mommy hollar her name. Shimmer reached out and touched her hand again and with a flash Evelou was normal size and right back where she had found the tiny person at the base of the tree.
This was fun cache to create and my daughters first time helping me hide one. The container is Camo but should be easy to spot. We filled it with lots of fun trinkets. Happy hunting.
