Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Aurora Challenge Trail!
#68 The Trifecta/Baker's Dozen
Find Rare Cache types

This series of challenge caches was placed by volunteers who are also proud members of GeocacheAlaska!

The cache IS at the listed coordinates!

The "Trifecta" in Geocaching is finding the Geocaching HQ Cache, an APE Cache, and the Original Stash Plaque. We can't have challenges that make you find specific caches, but we can make challenges that encourage you to find caches that are similar in spirit!

To qualify for this cache, you need to find caches worth "points" that add up to 13 OR complete the Geocaching Trifecta.

Baker's Dozen Caches
Earn 13 points by finding rare cache types.

1 point for a year 2000 Cache (up to ten points)
1 point for a locationless cache (up to five points)
1 point for a mega event (up to five points)
1 point for a Whereigo cache (up to three points)
1 point for a webcam cache (up to three points)
1 point for a GeoTour Cache (up to three points)
2 points for a giga event (up to six points)
2 points for a GPS Maze Cache
3 points for an A.P.E. Cache
3 points for an HQ Cache
13 points automatically for having the HQ Cache, an APE Cache, and a May 2000 Cache ("The Trifecta")

If you do not qualify yet, you can still sign the log, you just cannot list this as "found" until you qualify.
Please leave a favorite point if you enjoyed this challenge trail.
