We decided to have a celebration to commemerate the 11th anniversary of me finding my first Geocache. I found it with a now archived traditional cache in Ballarat. Today my count almost reaches 11000!
This event also celebrates the end of the school holidays break when Phillip Island and neighbouring holiday locations are relatively free of tourists after 6 weeks of hectic visitors to the area.
Lions Park is well appointed for a picnic or BBQ. It is also a great launching pad for further geocaching in the area. Plenty of parking and other amenities in the area.
