Voormalig Landgoed Zandhove is een prachtig wandelbos voor de bewoners en bezoekers rondom Zorgspectrum Het Zand. Het oude hoofdgebouw ('t Huis op 't Zant) is gebouwd in de 18e eeuw en de voormalige tuin is heel speciaal. Afwisselend bos, verpachte weides en de centrale vijver. De vijver heeft slingerende paden met hoogteverschillen en een brug. Bijzonder is hoeveel verschillende bomen er te zien zijn. Een verzameling exotische naaldbomen (pinetum geplant in 1860 door de landgoedeigenaar), eikenbos, loofbomen, herinneringsbomen, Mammoetbomen, coniferen en meidoornhagen in de jaren 90.
Combineer het vinden van deze cache met een wandeling (1-5 km aansluiting op Bikkenrade en de Oude Mars).
De paden zijn goed begaanbaar maar wandelschoenen zijn aanbevolen vanwege de zandpaden, vooral als je de lange wandeling wil doen - de cache is makkelijk te retrieven. Er zijn geen tools nodig.

Former Zandhove Estate is a beautiful woodland area for hiking and walking, intended for residents and visitors around Zorgspectrum Het Zand. The old main building (“’t Huis op ’t Zant”) was built in the 18th century and the former garden is very special. There is a varied landscape of woodland, leased meadows, and the central pond. The pond has winding paths with different levels of elevation and a bridge. Remarkable is the number of different types of trees you can see there: a collection of exotic conifers (a pinetum planted in 1860 by the estate owner), oak woodland, deciduous trees, memorial trees, giant sequoias, conifers, and hawthorn hedges dating from the 1990s.
Combine finding this cache with a walk (1–5 km, connecting to Bikkenrade and De Oude Mars; medieval swampland).
The paths are easy to walk, but hiking shoes are recommended because of the sandy tracks, especially if you want to do the longer hike. The cache is easy to retrieve and no tools are required.
