After calling South Australia home for the past 8 years, its time for a new chapter of life.
I first discovered geocaching in Tasmania a few years before moving to South Australia, but it was here that the hobby truly took off. Over the past eight years in SA, geocaching has become a huge part of my life and the way I explore the state. What began as the occasional find quickly turned into countless adventures, from yorke penisula power trails and hidden suburban gems to long road trips through regional towns I may never have otherwise visited.
Some of my favourite memories include June Long weekends, early starts, creative hides, and that shared moment of excitement when a tricky cache finally clicks. Even more memorable, though, are the people. Through geocaching in South Australia I’ve met welcoming, generous, and passionate cachers who have turned a simple hobby into a genuine community.
SA has given me incredible memories, strong friendships, and experiences I’ll always carry with me. This event is a chance to celebrate that journey and the people who made it so special.
Event is at 6-6:30pm in Vic Square
