Join us clearing footpaths near to the Windmill!

Footpath Trimming at Alney Island - Tuesday 17th February 

We will be trimming back bramble, shrubs and trees that are starting to encroach on to the footpath and cycleway. Such shruberry could affect cyclists such as mice on bicycles (who often live in windmills, nearby, and go clip clippity clop on the stair).

The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools but please bring your own gloves and if you have them. 

The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.

Trimming can be thirsty work so please bring a drink and snack for teabreak. There is ample free parking at the parking coordinates.

Feel free to drop by for any time you have spare, don't feel you have to stay for the whole CITO :)
