This area of Ballarat in the years before development was prone to bad flooding, now as you can see at the cache location there is a little river. You tend to find these in recently developed areas. Delacombe, winter Valley Lucas's areas all contain a man-made lake which directs water from the streets into the lake which helps keep these flood prone spots at risk of flooding safe.
At cache location you can find a playground great for kids to come along and play while finding a cache along the way.
