With Flo, we share a great passion for geocaching: EarthCaches đ„°. We are intense rock hunters! đȘšđ You could even say itâs a real crush đ€ą. Our second geocaching passion is GeoArt đ€©. So we pushed ourselves a bit and decided to mix the two. A big headache to set up đ”â, but in the end, totally doable.

Questions :Â Locate the blue dots in the photo above and answer the following:

2 - Based on your observation, what is the name of this organism ?
3 - What is the color of this organism ?
4 - Take a photo in front of this fountain, with your geocaching username visible, and make a đ sign with your hand.

Lesson :
History and Definition : Bioclastic limestone is a bioclast, a biodetrital rock primarily composed of rock fragments, minerals, and fossils. Bioclastic rock refers to any carbonaceous sedimentary rock formed largely from the remains of organisms. Bioclastic rocks are often composed of shell fragments, which were formed by living creatures. The shells are usually cemented together with calcite or iron oxide.
Uses : Because it is soft and easy to shape, bioclastic rocks have been used as building stone.
