Geocache Description:

Another School Year Coffee series! We are going back to Chugiak Cafe for their monthly opening. We will grab coffee & a treat before heading over to Chugiak High for the February Cache In, Trash Out event from 11:30-12:30.

The line will be long at 10, so I recommend getting there early or going around the line to come say hi before you get in line for food & drinks after.

Because I forgot last time: the cafe is CASH ONLY 💕

This Chugiak institution is full of history and fun. The previous owner passed after a private battle with cancer last year, and his son and daughter-in-law have other careers and a family, so they can't run it exactly like Trig used to, but they open up once a month for an open house with a limited menu so that people can see and enjoy all the history and fun inside.

Stop by for a cup of coffee and whatever is on their rotating micro-menu (in September, it was biscuits and gravy or baklava, in October it was breakfast burritos and McMuffins) and say hi! BirkenstockReport & crew be there from 10-11, but they will be open 10-1, although they do often sell out of food before closing. She'll be at a table sized based on "Will-Attends" and will have my name tag on. The line often stretches out the door when they first open at 10!

If you stay to chat, be ready to share:

-What is the coolest cache you've found lately?
-What is one cache hide idea that you want to talk about or get feedback on?
-What is on thing you've seen or done that you wouldn't have it it weren't for geocaching?

Accessibility:

The cafe is historic and has a lot of tight corners, but it is very close to ADA-friendly. I believe at least one door has a ramp.
