While out grabbing a few of the new caches in Grant Ranch, I discovered another hole on the trail that was missing a cache. So why not mark this location with a cache?
As always, you might encounter some PO in the park, but the cache near the trunk and the area is, or at least was, free of PO. That could change, so look first just in case. Ticks and snakes are always around, but shouldn't be a big risk here.
Please respect park hours of 8 am to sunset. If one parks in the main lot, a fee or permit is required. The cache is about a mile hike from the main parking. Maybe 2 miles from the Grant Lake parking. Of course, this cache is also along multiple potential loop hikes.
