This geocaching meet-up was originally planned for Royston Library on 20th February, but both the date and location have changed. The new meet-up will take place at New Lodge Village Green in Barnsley on Sunday 1st March.
It’s a small, informal meet-up — drop by for a relaxed half hour to chat with fellow geocachers, swap stories, discover new faces, and move any trackables you have with you. I’ll have a container for smaller trackables, so if they fit, I don’t mind taking them with me. For larger trackables, please be prepared to take them back with you. No pressure, no agenda, and no need to stay the full time — just come when it suits you.
Parking is mainly on the street, but there’s also a shop car park nearby if you need it. The village green is an open public space, so dress appropriately for the weather.
All geocachers are welcome — whether you’re new to the game, a seasoned cacher, local to Barnsley, or just passing through. Families and dogs are welcome too.
