Is there really water in the desert are your eyes playing tricks?
Clear Lake
Clear Lake Migratory Bird Refuge is south of Delta off state road 257. Late November is not the time to see large numbers of birds, like Snow Geese. But in March, the area hosts thousands of Snow Geese and over a hundred other species of migratory birds. We'll aim to return when the spring migration is in full swing.
This is such a beautiful peaceful place. Lots of wild life frequent this place. Bring your boat if you really think there could be water. If not bring your camera there is always plenty of wildlife to photograph.
