Park near the entrance and hike or horseback the 3/4 miles to the
spiritual center of this old Boy Scout camp. Stay
on the trail, bushwhacking will only get you in deep, wet
trouble.
- The coordinates will place you in front of an old chapel.
- From the pulpit of the chapel, align your line of site with the
oak trees at the end of the asile.
- The Cache is on the same relative bearing as the oak tree and
pulpit.
All the original items in the cache are Boy Scout memorabilia.
Because the cache is in honor of an old Scoutmaster we request that
you help maintain that theme when exchanging items.
Naturally, Travel Bugs are exempt from this request and are
welcome to camp for free.
(A Scout is thrifty!)
Merit badge points awarded to anyone who E-mails us correctly
describing the difference between relative bearings and a relative
heading.
