The cache is located at Rose Hill Plantation State Park in Union County, SC.
Rose Hill was the home of Secession Governor William H. Gist. The site is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. Take the tour of the house!! Its great. It does however require a small fee for the tour ($4 for adults, $3 for kids). Tour hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The park is open Thursday through Monday. It is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The park is also open year round.
The cache is located on the nature trail located near the picnic shelter. Take the trail to the right when it splits. This is a short walk down the trail.
