Depending on when you search for this cache, you will have a much
longer hike than at other times of the year because vehicle access
is restricted in the winter.
The closest parking to the cache is approximately 2/3 of a mile
[as the crow flies] when the gate at the camping area is locked.
When the gate at the county road entrance is locked, it will be
even longer. Even with this being the case, it is an easy walk on
established roadways.
The coordinates listed above are for a bench overlooking the
Cedar River. From here, you need to go down the stairway, counting
the steps. Use the total number of steps to determine the final

The container is a Coleman water jug. Original contents include
logbook & pencil, 2 homemade wooden cross necklace kits, 2 WWJD
bracelets, 2 boxes wooden matches, toy whistle, some Pokemon toys,
plastic dinosaur rings and a rubber ducky.
