Geocache Description:

NOTE: THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE ABOVE CO-ORDINATES.

Khanya means Light in a language spoken by people who live in this certain country. To find the correct co-ordinates you must figure out the following:

N 45 AB 3CD
W075 EF 3GH

AB = the number of years ruled by the military before the lawful government was restored in this country.

CD = the number you would get if you take the last four digits from the northern coordinates posted for this cache and subtract the elevation (given in meters) of the lowest position in this country.

EF = the number you would get if you take the last four digits from the western coordinates posted for this cache and subtract the elevation (given in meters) of the highest position in this country.

GH = the last two digits of the year of independence of this country (eg. if it was the year 2003, then GH would be 03)

The cache itself is a white container (courtesy of Hook), covered a bit with branches and is easy to get to. Among other things, it contains the lamplighter (travel bug) and also a toy for those great four footed friends that often help out on finding the caches (hey, there should be something in it for them too!)

Beware: There are a couple of languages that have the word “Khanya” in their vocabulary AND there are several countries that speak this language.
