Geocache Description:

A museum of local and national interest.

Situated on 167 acres of some of the most scenic land in North Alabama, the museum and its grounds contain items of local and national interest.

To log this historic virtual cache, find the sign which answers the following questions and post a photo of yourself with either it or the Burritt sign with your found log.

  1. Who willed the property to the City of Huntsville?
  2. When did the philanthropist die?
  3. How many stars can be seen on the marker?
  4. What is the third word in the third line of the body of text on the marker?

Don't send me the answers. The answers can be found on the internet, so they don't validate your find. Please post an original photo as requested above. It does NOT have to include your face. It can include your arm, your GPSr, your shoe, your dog, I don't care. Just post an original photo as requested. Please don't make me have to bug you for the photo. I will, and I won't like it, but I will. And if you don't post one, I will eventually delete your log in the name of responsible cache maintenance, so don't say I didn't warn you. Take responsibility for your caching and do it right.

Other photos of interest in the area are also welcome. No Photoshopped photos please.

Enjoy the cache, and if you have time, enjoy the museum.
