Geocache Description:

You will enjoy this cache. Beautiful area. Cache is in an ammo box and well hidden.

This cache is a replacement cache for the recently archived Black Rock by Long Ranger and Tonto. It's about 350 feet away from it's original location though. So it's brand new and if you logged Black Rock previously come on back and get this one. While here you can also walk back over and get Drop Me A Line or Black Rock as they are very close. From where I parked this cache is .13 miles away.

The cache is located 30 feet from the edge of the cliffs. No climbing is necessary. These cliffs contain several bat caves that have closed off entrances to protect the bats. I have seen thousands of bats flying out of these caves during the summer months at dusk. Pretty amazing. There are ways to safely climb below these cliffs if you feel like exploring.It is a gorgeous area.
