Glendale is located near what used to be the L&N railroad, and is now owned by CSX. This town is known for it's numerous antique shops and for good old fashioned country cooking. Glendale looks like it was plucked from a model train set and placed in a field in Kentucky. People from as far as Louisville and Nashville make the trip to this town most every weekend. While waiting on your table at one of the local dining establishments it is customary to browse one of the antique shops and to be paged for your table from the PA system that runs through most of the shops.
On the third Saturday in October the population of this town swells from a few hundred to thousands for the local Glendale Crossing Festival. Once you have visited this town you will certainly come back over and over again.
