CHIPS (W.Sussex) Traditional Cache

Tc & Fezzi: Many thanks to Bikergs500 who informed this site that the cache appeared to be missing. I travelled 30 miles today to discover, sadly, that he is correct. The cache has disappeared completely.
I fail to comprehend why anyone would steal this cashe. This cache ment a lot to me as the discription explains.

I will make every effort to create a Chips2 Cache in the same area in the future.

Geocache Description:

The 'Chips' cache is located in pleasant woodland behind East Court, a former private house and a Grade 2 listed building, built in 1769. The woods and it’s grounds are open to the public, 2 stones on the terrace mark where the Greenwich Meridian passes through the area which is fun for those with a GPS machine. The building houses the Council Offices & the Museum which is open Wed & Sat, 2 to 4pm. Toilets are also located near the car park (N 51 07.781 W 000 00.135).Note the 'W'.

The views from the back of the building are beautiful. To enter the woods walk down the slight hill towards the opening and footpath (N 51 07.810 E000 00.153). Then start searching.

The 'Chips' cache is named after my old family pet dog who used to wonder that woodland with me when I was a boy (from about 1975 to 1986 when he died). His spirit lives there. The container is a brown ammo box and contains:

A Homer Simpson figure
A packet of P.G Tips playing cards
A 50p cyber voucher for Cd Wow.com
A Knac.com bumper sticker
A Chris Eubank boxing card
A Brookside quiz card
Two pencil rubbers
A snowman puzzle
An American Quarter
An Iron Maiden video (my favourite band during my time there)
A music c.d (by my current favourite rock band)
