Donie Galloway Riverside Park Traditional Cache

It is about a half mile walk on dirt paths from the parking area to the cache. You will be able to stay on established trails until very near the cache.

Donie Galloway Riverside Park is an undeveloped park in the northwest corner of Champlin, MN on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River. Access is on Dayton Road.

Park in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill (N45° 12.064 W93° 25.164). Rather than simply following the arrow on your GPSr across the wide open fields, do yourself a favor and head east to the river bank and follow the trail north toward the cache.

The cache container is a 3 x 7 x 10 inch ammo box. The original contents were:

• An assortment of fishing and camping related items
• A few McToys for the kiddies
• Log book, pencils, and pencil sharpener
