Pound Gap on the Pine Mountian Trail. Not to bad in spring but winter is a bit more difficult.
Start out at the trail head on pound gap. (There is a gas station on the south bound lane of the road.) You can park there and go on in from there. The cache is a clear container that contains: A star wars figure, Music CD, tooth brush (never used), old maid cards, Hotel shampoo, Tube of super glue, eye glasses cleaning tissue, Highland Sojourner News letter, cheap D ring and log book.
It was pretty cold when this got set and I almost turned back once. But all and all it was a good hike with nice veiws of VA. Have fun on this new part of the trail. Hope you have as much fun as we did sliding around in the mountain. Thanks goes to my friends who I trekked with.
