I've driven to this area in the past to look at the city lights, be
by myself, and think. The view of the city and Utah Lake is
terrific, especially at sunset. One evening while I meditated, I
saw an interesting character skipping down the hill. Though caked
in mud from head to toe, he looked strangely triumphant.
Seeing the grimy GPS unit he clutched, I decided to initiate a
friendly conversation. The fellow's thought processes obviously
worked a little different from those of the average person, and I
couldn't get anything really coherent out of him. I never figured
out his name, so I can only call him "The Mad Cacher."
However, I did make out that he had evidently just hidden a
geocache. I scribbled down his babblings, and tried to interpret
them. Following his instructions, I did in fact find a cache hidden
nearby. I figure if I could figure out what "The Mad Cacher" was
saying, so can you.
The following are my notes:
"Mi kas^is la ujo apud uesto cent dek unu gradoj tridek
nau^ punkto kvar kvar nau^ minutoj nordo kvardek gradoj dek nau^
punkto du nul nau^ minutoj."
"Sekvu la cervoj kaj la alkoj! Tre kruta! Ne transiru la
barilo! Mi s^atas la rokoj! Nur la timemuloj ili ne g^uas la koto!
Bwaaaaa ha ha ha!"
So there you have it. Good luck making sense of The Mad Cacher's
ravings. Bring small items to trade, and don't wear your
wingtips.
