Gamow's Island Multi-Cache
insaneape: I just got back into town to check on this cache, but from the comments I've gotten, I guess it's hopeless. Thanks to everyone who indulged the math problem on my second cache!

This cache is based on a math problem by George Gamow, a famous mathematician. The coordinates above is a place to park, and there's a place to enter the desert at the NE corner of that lot. Here's a little story about how to find this cache:
There's a marked spot on the trail and two more landmarks at N 46 18.541 W 119 22.328 (rusted pile of car) and N 46 18.718 W 119 22.324 (a major crossing in the trails). Start at the spot on the trail and walk, counting your steps, to the car. Turn 90 degrees to the right and walk the same number of steps. Set a waypoint at this spot. Go back to the spot on the trail and walk, counting your steps, to the intersection. Turn 90 degrees to the left and continue the same number of steps. Now walk halfway between that spot and the waypoint you set, and the cache is right there.
"Well that seems pretty simple," you say, "but I can't find that marked spot on the trail!" That's because I didn't mark the spot! You don't where to start.
This took me many hours to find where to put the cache, so it will no doubt take you hours to find. I'd suggest starting at dawn (Sluggo) or dusk (The Mad Cacher and The Cache-napper).
Have fun!
