Follow the tourist path marked with a green stripe to a group of trees (family tree ;) ) The cache is at the stem. Look for a 16x10x5 cm size box.
The Hungarian geocaching community celebrated the hiding of the 100th geocache together with an event cache. A regular cache was also placed.
The place was chosen together by the participants on the geocaching forum. The geographical centre of Hungary can be reached by all geocachers in the country. The time of meeting was 23 February 2002, Saturday 13:00 hours.
CACHE HISTORY
2002.05.04.: Attention! Unfortunately the box we placed together has been vandalized in April 2002. (Original place: N 47° 10.982' E 19° 30.004'), MikiCache placed it in its new place. Some good news: the monument has been rebuilt.
2004.03.27.: The broken box was replaced. The place remains the same.
2007.08.13.: The cache disappeared when terrain works were done in the area. It was replaced 168 meters from the old place. Thanks to rekasi!
2007.10.17.: Disappeared again.
2007.12.31.: Yet another replacement, thanks to SylverRat. We hope this will prove a permanent place.
