This cache is on the west side of Cheney Lake, west of Wichita.
Soft Underfoot is exactly like it sounds, so be prepared to slog through some sand. This cache was placed on the day the Columbia Space Shuttle went down, so please remember the crew and their families when you visit!
This is a "Grannycache" - easy to get to, and not far from a dirt road... you can literally drive to within yards of the cache. Things originally included in the cache are near and dear to the heart of all Grannies (or the grandchildren and "Grandpaws" they love). Original contents include:
Dish-washing brush
Nylon scrubber
Rubber jar opener
Toothpick holder
Salt & Pepper shakers
Measuring spoons
Picture frame for that grandbaby's picture!
The cache is in a plastic jug-type canister, and contains a logbook, pens, pencils and geocaching letter. Hope you have no trouble finding this one! Please be sure to cover the cache when you replace it in its hiding spot! Thanks!
