Bird's Eye View Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hemlock: Sorry J&J. No one is immune.

This cache has been brought to my attention via a "needs archived log." This cache has been under the weather for over a year and a half, which should be more than enough time to replace the cache. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don't think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.

When/if this cache is replaced, please email me at hemlock@geocachingadmin.com and I'll be more than happy to take a look at your cache again. If it is still is within the guidelines for cache placement and posting, it will then be unarchived.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Hemlock

Geocache Description:

This micro-cache is in a gold and green Altoids Mint Tin which is encased in a clear zip lock plastic sandwich bag. It is at an altitude of 275 feet mean sea level. It was placed at 12:34 P.M., Pacific Standard Time, on January 29, 2003.

A little birdie told us about life from her viewpoint and this hidey-hole. So, we have named the cache in her honor. The main location was established in the late 1800´s. Though the view has changed quite a bit since then, it is still a most beautiful sight to behold. We had driven by many times and always wondered, how do we get over there? Please try not to draw the attention of the neighboring residents when you feel compelled to stand under the flag pole and belt out "From The Mountains, To The Prairies, To The Oceans, White With Foam."

The original cache contents were:

  • A tiny, but easy to see log book
  • A first place medal
  • A mini picture frame
  • A tiny headstone
  • Travel Bug; Black Lassic Mountain Fly TB513F
