Geocache Description:

An easy park-n-grab in the central Texas town of Hamilton.

This cache is located in Pecan Creek Park just a short two blocks north of the courthouse square.

This a good place to get out and stretch your legs and maybe let Fido do his dog business.

The cache is located directly across the creek from the public library where you can use their computers and Net access for free (to log caches!). They open at 9 AM every weekday.

Note: reportedly there is a letterbox very near this cache. It was placed a couple of years after this geocache and apparently the letterboxer didn't know about geocaching. If you find the letterbox please do not take the stamp that is inside it.

Why the name 'Abacab'? Well, its what I was listening to in the truck when I pulled off of U.S. 281 to check out the park. Genesis' 1981 album was named after the the first six cords of the first song on the album, which is also called Abacab. A - B - A - C - A - B ~ get it?

KAPCAP was the first to find and log this cache and enters the 9Key Hall of Fame!
