After Chris left RickJL took over cache maintainence, then RedmondFamily took over from RickJL.
Note that the Lake Cowal gold mine has started production since the cache was originally placed, so the road layout shown on old topo maps has changed significantly, particuarly if you come from the south. Be careful of BIG trucks. The cache is located just outside the mine lease area, but you may get a visit from curious mine security.

I came here on a visit from Singapore to cover the drought-situation for German tv.
On one hand its a beautifull landscape with some soft hills and endless plains. Now its a deadly dry and dusty place with no grass and a lot dead sheep left.
When I was in Bali Oktober last year to cover the bomb, I found a small budah-figure to meditate for good things in life. I leave this one in the cache to help solve the problems of the drought. Good luck!
