Cache is located near the end of the La Madre Spring Trail in the Red Rock Conservation Area. Make your way to the Willow Springs picnic area. From there you can hike or drive high clearance vehicle 1/2 mile to the trail head. The trail is a 1 mile uphill hike to the dam and pond below the spring. The cache is located a short distance up the trail past the dam.
The cache is a clear plastic food container with white lid and contained the following when placed. Flashlight, key ring pen, pocket screwdrivers, key locker, photo key ring, alien key ring,lighted key ring, calculator key ring,smiley ball, stickers and log book, pencil and sharpener. Enjoy the fresh air, pinion pines, juniper trees, Red and white sandstone cliffs and if you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of some big horn sheep. Something else to look forward to, the hike back is all downhill.
