This corner of Balboa Park is not as touristy (mostly frequented by North Park residents) and has a beautiful view of downtown across Florida Canyon and the Coronado Bridge, and (on a clear day) the spectacular Coronado Islands in Mexico. This location is across Pershing from the Disc-Golf course and due north of the Municipal Golf corse.
This traditional cache is in an ammo box under a pile of river rocks. Cache created on 2-8-2003 at 2:00 p.m. Satellite reception here is good.
