The Soudough Cache is just off of the Ridge Road Trail, near Dawson City, Yukon. It is accessible in summer by foot, mountain bike, quad or horseback and in winter by snow machine or snowshoes. It is at an altitude of 3400 feet.
Whichever end of the trail you start at, you will have to pass a campground before you reach the cache. It is in a large, silver coffee can at the base of a tree. When you find it, you will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the Tombstone Mountains (on a clear day). The climb will be worth it. In our cache you will find a deck of cards, film, Gerties chips, Sourdough recipes, a Robert Service poem, photos, hand and toe warmers, a local archaeological booklet, tp, and matches. Watch for bears in the summer!
