Located in Meramec State Park, a short hike from the visitors center.
One of our best, Meramec State Park is located near Sullivan Mo. When you first wander into the visitors center watch out! Vultures are circling overhead! They have a great display of the amazing variety of clams you'll see if you take a float down the river. They also have a live exhibit of some of the many plants and animals you'll see throughout the park. Great camping facilities, dark caves, fishing, floating, hiking, and picnicking.
This cache is located a little ways down Natural Wonders Trail, which starts right by the visitors center. A quick cache so you can enjoy the rest of the park.
