ATTENTION: There's some delicate plants in some of the areas of this series,PLEASE tread lightly and step around them to avoid damage,it doesn't require much effort.....And PLEASE beware of muggles and hide the caches back well, making sure the containers are tightly closed, this doesn't take much effort either, but cache maintenance on a series this size requires alot of effort/mileage and your cooperation will be greatly appreciated!
The list of names below are the Geocachers who have completed the entire multi series and been confirmed,...this list will end with the 50th placement,.....from there on, any unconfirmed logged "finds" will be deleted. If you haven't found all parts of the entire series and e-mailed the required info., then post a note or DNF ,not a "find/smiley" .....

Safety First ! ..... Ol' Bubba Hide suggests that you take along a friend for this trip, a cellphone, snacks, water, and bug spray in case they're active, take breaks often to keep from getting too hot. Mark your coords when you park your car.The first cache has hiking trail maps for this preserve, take one, it'll be helpful.Watch where you're putting your feet, as with any hunt, snakes can be present.Anytime you have to uncover any cache, use a stick,NOT your hands.....Make sure you have good footing in the tough areas. If you intend to do all the caches at once,....plan for a day of it. Some people can probably do it in less time, just don't get stuck out here when the sun goes down, especially without a flashlight. Also, a good strong walking stick could be your best friend on this hike.!
Welcome to "Ol Bubba Hide's" World. This has been my neck of the woods for purt near all my life.On this trip you'll see some beautiful scenery, and possibly some wildlife so you may want to bring a camera with ya.Deer have been spotted here and I've seen alot of little critters stirring about, quite a bit of fresh hog rooting been going on round here too. This hiking trail is fairly new and not an awful lot of youin's out there know about it.That's one of my main purposes of getting ya here ,so ya can enjoy the beauty of these great outdoors.
This trip is for the serious Geocachers that love a challenge. It can be physically demanding, but once ya get out in these woods it'll almost seem enchanting. Old folklore has it that this is the land of the "Alafia Swamp Monster", now Ol Bubba's never seen him and I aint's sure I wanna, I hear he's mean as the dickens and most people that have seen him,.... never returned. But don't let that scare ya none, 'cause I believe youin's will enjoy this trip.
It's located next to a popular county park off hwy. 39 and it has a place next to it where kids have a ball. Now that's where your journey will begin,in the ne corner of this parking lot you will find a nature preserve sign. It's open to foot traffic only from sunrise to sunset and it has some well marked trails. Once on the trail, you'll need to follow it to the east and you'll find your on trail #2, it will lead you down a little winding trail a little ways and then you'll come to a little dirt/gravel road, follow it to the right and stay on trail #2 .
The first original cache had to be moved due to some land surveying going on in the area and bright survey markers being placed right where the cache was hidden. This is now a five part multi cache hunt plus a refreshing virtual cache at the end. Each cache will have the coords for the next cache. It will only be about a fifteen to twenty minute hike once you get started to get to the first cache.
After the first leg,the caches will become farther away and hopefully tougher to find. After you find the first one, it's quite some distance to the next cache and some rougher terrain . You'll never have to go too far from the trails to get the caches though. After your first find ,you'll cross a bridge of steel and the next landmark will be a marker sign with the number 182 on it, just beyond that about a hundred yards, they'll be another trail going right,it'll be trail #1. You're on your own from there!
You'll eventually find yourself "Wall to Wall and Treetop Tall" ... and in a very beautiful setting,....youin's will see what I mean when ya get there. If you don't want to decrypt the few hints I've given, I suggest you at least take them ,you may need to decrypt them on the trail. Cache # 3 is meant to be a stumbling block, and may be difficult to find. I had a bit of a problem marking coords because of the tree cover but I've given the best ones I could get. When you're close just take a few steps at a time,....wait a second or two and let your gps catch up.You'll be within feet of all of them.
Make sure you sign all five logs for verification of your hunt. The last log will have a phrase in it for you to e-mail to me, and also tell me what the virtual cache is . Please try to hide the caches back as good as possible.
I've also placed five additional independent caches along the route of this series. They are: "What A Pair" (GCMAYH),"Down Under" (GCMAYP),"Bonsai" (GCMAYQ),"Friends" (GCMCFQ)and "WTGFG=WHERE THE GXing FRIENDSHIPS GROW"(GCRTE6},.
Please ....Watch out for that "Alafia Swamp Monster" .....
The caches contain a variety of items, trade however ya like, from cache to cache if ya please.Y'all be safe and have fun now,...ya hear!
