Geocache Description:

Chatsworth Park South 22360 Devonshire St. is a good place to start. From the parking lot the cache is located on the big hill directly North of the recreational center about .2mi away.

As mentioned in some of the recent logs, the closing of Chatsworth Park South has made it a lot harder and longer to access, and as such have upgraded the trail rating from 3 to 3.5 (not suitable for small children) We were just there on 2-15-09 and went through Chatsworth Park North. It makes it easier if you stay to the Southern edge of the CPN as you traverse the hills West towards the cache. There is a plateau about half way that is divided by an old fence which has a large section missing making access easier. The recent fires have also had the effect of making some but not all of the route finding up and over the park easier because of the ability to see more of the foot trails. We will be back soon to do more maintenance. Also the cache is NOT close to the train tracks but does afford a nice view! SO...PLEASE DO NOT PLAY ON OR AROUND THE TRAIN TRACKS, THEY MOVE VERY FAST THROUGH HERE.
