Geocache Description:

This is the story of the little man up against the big corporations 30 years ago. Mr. Turner owned the land next to the interstate and when the big developers came in to built Hickory Hollow mall They wanted to built a exit just for the mall and then give it to the state and they did. It was the first one in the U.S. to be done this way so there was no rules to go by. Anyway since this was a private development there was no way for the state to condemn Mr. Turners land. This thing that was holding Mr. Turner back from selling the land was that his wife was buried there in a cemetery along with other family members and other good families besides his. It took quite a while but Good ole Mr. Turner won and they had to allow access to the cemetery from the interstate ramp; the only one of its kind that I know of.

When exiting off I 24 onto Hickory Hollow Blvd pull over to the right of the ramp all the way off the pavement, and if a policeman happens to ask what you are doing invite them to the top of the little hill to Foster's Cemetery and help pick up a little trash. The state does not seem to take care of it very well.

If you have never used parking coor. Before now is a good time or you will be on the merry-go round for another trip. N36 02.241 W86 38.958

The cache box is a 30 cal. ammo box full of trash bags and a log book nothing else.

THE SILVER BULLET SERIES these are places that are unique and interesting and sometimes bizarre, but not quite up to virtual status quo but are very unusual just the same. These are all places I bet you have never been to or seen, and if you have please say so in your log. Been geocaching more than a year it a good chance you have been here before
