Geocache Description:

Public access to the James River, just east of town. Close to parking area, short walk.

We use this area for short after-work floats in the summer. You can either put in here and float down to Springfield Lake, or start upstream at Sunshine and float down. Today the temp was 35 degrees, and there was a man out running the gates in a kayak. Brrrrrr.

The cache is a small container with just a logbook and a pencil. Hopefully the spring rains won't carry it away too soon. It should be a pretty easy find.

I had a lot of fun making this one, I hope you enjoy it!
