Treasures of Lamorinda: Inda Traditional Cache
bthomas: Time to bury this treasure. Almost 200 finds in 7 years for this 2003 cache. Used to be by here twice weekly back then, and saw quite a few movies too with the kids. The O is still open, but the Rheem in Moraga closed again this week, and the Park in Lafayette has been closed for years.

Art Deco movie house treasures of Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda. Part of a series of three caches near old-style movie theaters, the others being mini-Altoid tin micros.
Before there were multiplexes or MTV, there was big screen cinema to transport us to other places and other circumstances. These old style movie theaters are worthy of our fondest memories.
Three communities east of the Caldecott Tunnel have seen fit to cherish and patronize their neighborhood movie theaters: Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda. Stop by, and catch a matinee or evening show.
2009 note: Theatres at Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda were originally featured in this series. The Park in Lafayette closed and cache is archived. My Moraga cache at the Rheem is archived but replaced by another. The Orinda cache was featured in an article in the Co Co Times.
