Cache is hidden in the woods, inside a rocky shore and above the tide levels
See the picture. In 2006, the park HQ was still under construction. The coordinance here is N 05 27.593 E 100 12.382. Follow the trail beside the beach, the beginning part of which was partially paved. I actually drove my car on this tretch. After passing over the suspension bridge, there is forked junction. Take the trail after the left turn. Follow the trail that takes you to the beach.
At the end of the trail, the area has an inundation lake, a sandy shore and you would have being passing through a primary tropical forest. These features are well kept secrets of Penang. Known only to the the beach hoteliers.
The beach where the cache is hidden is located on rocky shore. Please choose your visit during the leap tide or coinciding with the daily low tide period. Then, it is a breeze to reach the site of the cache.[see picture] However and the water levels tells you that the rocky shore is impassable, then the area where the cache is, can be reached through the woods. The cache is a glass jar painted in dull green colour. You may need to get to the rocky area to get a good fix on your GPS.
