This is in East Fork State Park on the Deer Ridge Trail. Please
park in the Visitor's Center Parking lot.
This week as a part of earning our Finding Your Way Badge we got to
play with the GPS and find a cache. It was so much fun we decided
to make our own. It's in a piece of pipe we painted camoflauge
colors.
Fast forward to September 2003. After the cache was stolen in the
spring we hesitated, and then decided to put it back out there. It
is again in camoflage pvc pipe. A perfect first cache for
beginners, or young families. Also a perfect place for the girls
travel bug, Juliette Bear Scout, to call home. July 2007 - Seven
years since we placed this cache. The girls are no longer in
Scouts, and will all graduate in May 2008. Went out and did some
cache maintenance. Container still in good shape - lots of stuff!
Loved the log entries. Added some more Girl Scout themed items, AND
a really nice surprise for the first female cacher (hopefully
someone who has been connected with the Girl Scouts). It is, of
course, green.
