Footpaths and bridleways can take you to Stansted House (which is open to the public), and to the villages of Walderton and Stoughton. Both of these villages have great pubs that do good snacks and meals.
As you walk along there are views of the surrounding countryside and of Chichester Harbour in the distance.

The original access is now difficult due to a hawthorn bush which has now grown since it's placement, but is still accessible on hands and knees, but those who wish for a simpler life may find another way to locate it.
