Geocache Description:

Ooit was dit een onderdeel van de “Hollandse Waterlinie”, nu razen er tienduizenden auto’s per dag overheen als er tenminste geen file staat.
Once this was a part of the “Hollandse Waterlinie”, today tenthousends of cars roars past when there is no trafficjam.

Op ± een kilometer ligt de andere Wiericke. De polder tussen de Groote en Enkele Wiericke ten westen van de cache werd in tijden van nood onder water gezet om de vijand tegen te houden. Het onder water zetten van lage gronden noemt men inundatie. Fort Wiericker-schans ligt op ± 2.5 kilometer naar het noordwesten (visit link)

De cache bestaat uit een tupperware-doos van 2 liter. De cache ligt aan een wandelroute, verstop de cache weer goed.

Parkeer de auto alleen op plekken waar dit is toegestaan, heel dicht bij de cache parkeren of stoppen is LEVENSGEVAARLIJK.

An kilometer northwest of the cache another Wiericke is situated . The polder between the Groote (great) en Enkele (single) Wiericke was flooded in times of war to stop the enemy. Flooding of low grounds is called “inundation”. Fort Wiericker-schans lays on ± 2.5 kilometer to the north-west (visit link)

The cache consist of a 2 litter tupperware-box, the cache is situated along a public footpath, hide the cache carefully.

Park your car only on designated places, parking or stopping very close to the cache is LIFE-THREATNING.
