You will get an idea of some of the history of this land when you find this cache.
I recommend parking at N38 52.721 W094 54.517. When you reach this cache, you will be about in the center of the 300 acre nature preserve. There is a lot more to see if you feel inclined.
I actually got a pretty good signal exactly at the hiding spot, but there are reasons why that might not always be the case. The container has a four-inch diameter opening.
Be sure to bring your own water. There is none available for drinking here. UPDATE: I continue to get emails from cachers telling me that the hiding place is being destroyed. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. I had chosen the hiding place specifically because of its condition. You will understand when you see it. This is not recent damage to a historical object.
