Baabara the Microsheep
We seem to have mislaid some of our flock during our geocaching
expeditions... can you help?
Ovis Plasticus Microcacheus is a unique breed of sheep.
They are small, extremely docile, and have an unusual penchant for
hiding in 35mm film canisters.
It's rumoured that if you manage to track down all three of our
missing sheep, the "secret" location of a 4th cache will be
revealed...
Where's Baabara?
We went to see the ruin,
Down by Feldon Burn,
Baabara went with us,
Never to return!
Take good heed of my advice:
Don't leave your sheep alone -
It doesn't take them very long
To hide behind a stone!
Sheep hunting tips:
- Please don't take the sheep away with you - it's supposed to
stay in the cache!
- Take careful note of the markings on the sheep; if you track
down all the microsheep, these markings will lead you to the final
"lost sheep" cache.
- Have you ever tried to fit a sheep into a cache? Believe me,
there isn't much space to spare, so make sure you bring your own
writing implement to sign the log.
- There's not much space for trade items either - we suggest that
you save your trade items for the final cache in the series.
Terrain Advice
This is the steepest of the Lost Sheep series. Depending on which
route you take, it might involve an impromptu water crossing. Note
that the cache is NOT hidden in the dry stone wall - you don't need
to dismantle any masonry to find this cache!
