Central Coast Geocachers of California
It's a Great Place, Kites are fun, The Cache is located a short ways from parking although the sand is a KILLER. It was a hard walk for me I'm old and out of shape though. Nice View! Be careful where you walk please.
The Cache: This is my Third cache and I am placing it in Monterey, for you to come find.
The cache is a small rubbermaid box that is hidden at the base of some plant. It is very well hidden under the branches, and could easily be missed even if standing right next to it. You must push branches out of the way to find it. The original cache contents include the following:
  • Geocache letter
  • logbook
  • Hot Wheels toy
  • pencils
  • Disposable Camera
  • Bubbles For fun
  • Dinosaur backpack hanger
  • Peanuts
  • Batteries
  • Pokemon toy top
There is no enterance fee here. Park in the main parking lot by the Hang gliders.. Yes, its a long sandy walk to the Cache. There are a whole lot of ways to get to the cache but I parked in the lot and walked to the cache.
