~The San Francisco Vibe~ Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hemlock: This cache was approved as a physical cache. When a cache box disappears the options are to archive the listing or to replace the box.

If you choose to replace the box, please email me and I will be more that happy to unarchive this cache.

If the cache meets the guidelines for virtual cache I would be happy to review a new submission for a virtual, but it is unfair to arbitrarily convert it without it being reviewed by a reviewer. Keep in mind that since it has already been proven that a physical cache can be here, it is unlikely that a virtual cache will be approved.

Please feel free to submit a new cache report for this cache as a virtual cache if it meets the requirements for a virtual listed here: http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at hemlock@geocachingadmin.com or via the link to my profile on the archive log. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC# or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for the understanding.

Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates are for the 1st cache in ~The San Francisco Vibe~ multi-cache.
Its the only actual cache of the 3 cache sites, the other 2 are virtual! I originally had 2nd & 3rd caches, but they went MIA, so Ive posted the coordinates for all 3 cache sites & you can decide whether to just find the 1st cache by itself, or keep going & see the other 2 places I originally wanted you to see with this multicache!

******************ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!!****************

I am back in San Francisco for the week, so I went and found the 1st cache container again, and I am retiring it (because it has been my longest lasting cache and I wanted to take it before it went MIA like all the others)!!! I am not archiving this cache but just turning into a virtual multi-cache (for the time being). I may make a new cache container and leave it at the original site before I return home, but for now:

******THIS IS A COMPLETELY VIRTUAL MULTI-CACHE!!! THERE ARE NO CONTAINERS TO FIND AT ANY OF THE CACHE SITES RIGHT NOW!!!!******

Thanks to everyone who have found this cache! Im loving reading your entries!!!!
***********************************************************

City caches don't seem to usually last too long here in San Francisco, so to help keep these from being found by the public, it would probably be best to go after them on a weekday morning or afternoon. Unfortunately, the real "treasure," or at least my initial purpose and point for this multi-cache, would probably be better fully grasped and understood at night...) But no matter what time of day you go, please keep in mind that:

***EXTREME DISCRETION IS SERIOUSLY REQUIRED FOR ALL 3 CACHES!!!***

Each cache is slightly different in size/shape, but they are all basically SMALL, THIN tupperwear containers. All 3 cache sites are in the city & within reasonable walking distance of each other (aprx.1 mile)

Though all three caches are hidden in spots where any geocacher would be able to find them, I would not really recommend this multi-cache for young geocachers or to teams with children....

I put this multi-cache together to share a little bit of the San Francisco I know and love! Collectively, I think these three cache sites really capture and convey San Francisco's vibe and energy!! Have a good time, and good luck!!! =)
