Ferncliff Forest located along Mt Rutsen Road in Rhinebeck
Parking coords are N41* 57.460 W73* 55.217. Distance to cache about .5 miles. Allow 45-60 minutes.
There are two ways to make it up to the cache once you make it to the lake. The easier more kid-friendly route starts behind the lean-to (the dirt road). The trail that is off to the west side of the lake is newer and less traveled. Make sure you follow the trail markers. Either trail makes a complete loop. I would suggest back-tracking on the easier trail if you have little kids with you.
The cache is a small ammo box. It is hidden about 40 feet off trail. Make sure you sign the log book!
